Here's a shot taken recently at a road intersection in Berlin. Being quite a flat city, Berlin lacks the usual higher vantage points typically found in other metropoles, making this site one of the few where one can have an unhindered view into the city’s skyline including the iconic fernsehturm in the background.
I took here the opportunity to experiment with the new HDR and panorama tools of the recently released photoshop CS6 beta. Overall I was pleased with the results, the HDR managed to pull some fine details from the set of 5 brackets, and it now even includes two new presets by RC Concepcion and Scott Kelby.
The panorama (in this case, a vertorama) didn’t pose any challenge to Adobe’s newest suite. I’ll be experimenting with some more challenging set of brackets soon to see how well it performs with respect to CS5.
