The innocent can never last

Today’s post will be a bit different from my usual ones: me and my friend Jacques Gudé decided to make an experiment in post-processing, where each of us will work on a common set of brackets in order to see how we both would artistically interpret the same scene. If you don’t known Jacques, make sure to visit his website, www.jacquesgude.com, and indulge yourself in his amazing photography.
As for the shot, it was taken in a house which was used in the DDR times as a nursing home for elderly persons. Legal and financial issues have left the house empty for some years, and it’s still not certain when it will reopen again.
The brackets were processed using photomaix 5.0.2, and finalised in photoshop in order to better reproduce the mood and light found inside the location.
