From there we came outside and saw the stars

Despite the Dante’s inspired title and the resemblance of the subject of the photo with the author’s notorious poem, this place had nothing scaring about it, quite the opposite. In a calm Sunday morning, there was almost no soul to be seen at this subway station, an opportunity that I seized in order to capture the brackets for this hdr.
During the post-processing I tried to emphasise the symmetry and natural colours of the rocks, which were painted in well contrasting colours, while the tone mapping helped to bring back the reflections on the floor. As usual, the brackets were processed with photomatix, and finished then in photoshop.
